Have you ever deleted important photos from your gallery by mistake? If you are now looking for some ways to restore these files on Android, then you come to the right place. In this article, there are two simple methods you can follow to recover your deleted photos, just keep reading!

Method 1: Check your "Trash bin" or "Trash" folder

If you want to retrieve photos you have accidentally deleted on your Android device, the first thing you need to do is to check the "Trash bin" or "Trash" folder from your phone's gallery. However, the way to access such folders varies based on your mobile brand. I'll take Xiaomi devices for example to show you the detailed steps.

-- Firstly you need to open your photo gallery, then click the "Albums" tab.

-- Scroll down you will see the "Trash Bin" folder and "Trash" folder.

-- The "Trash Bin" folder will store deleted photos for up to 30 days. Click "Trash Bin" to restore the photos you want.

Method 2: Restore photos with the third-party app DiskDigger

Step 5: Select photos you want to recover or select all to recover all photos.

Step 6: Select the location to store your photos.

There are three options for you to choose from: you can save these files to an app on your device, such as Email, dropbox, Google drive, etc, or save the files to a specific location on your device where you can find them easily. You can even upload these files to an FTP server.
